Financial Institution logo

This logo was designed for a financial institution. We took the input from the client, the color, idea to create this logo.

At our design studio, we always thrive to create logo based on these five principles. Every logo should pass this test. It should be:

  • Simple - In design ( Look & feel)
  • Appropriate - To the business
  • Memorable   - Create lasting impression
  • Timeless      - Scalable
  • Versatile      - Suitable for different medium

Here're few thoughts behind this logo

The Bothnia ‘B’ is stylized to form a lotus.

Why did we use Lotus in this logo design?

Egyptian mythology – the lotus flower is a symbol of the sun, of creation and rebirth.

In the East, the lotus flower is viewed as a symbol of spiritual unfoldment.
The Christian alternative to the lotus is the white lily which, relating to Mary as queen of heaven, signifies both fertility and purity.
The Indian Lotus flower is associated with the goddess of wealth, Maha Lakshmi, who brings prosperity, purity and generosity.

All cultures adores Lotus even though it manifests in different thoughts. It fits our client's thoughts, embraces the idea of wealth creation, and prosperity.

  1. The logo should be able to tell the message & remain in the minds of the customer. It is for the designer to select different color combination to choose for the logo.
